New Hibiscus Flowers Mini Collection!

Hey friend!

In my design work I have the tendency to always focus on the new. Moving forward, looking ahead, never looking back. However, I’ve found that’s not always the best approach. Instead of always creating from scratch, it can be good to look back on what’s already working and double down on it.

So this week I decided to look back at my previous work that had already seen some success and figure out how I could make it shine a little brighter.

I’ve talked about these hibiscus flower prints before. They’re my absolute best sellers in my Spoonflower shop across multiple colorways.

Carrying on with my theme of creating more collections, I thought it would be fun to create a mini collection around this print. I doodled some ideas and created these two coordinating prints.

I had a lot of fun making these from some very simple marks and I think they support the original designs quite well.

You can see them in all the different colorways in my Spoonflower collection below. They’re available to purchase now on fabric, wallpaper, and a variety of home decor items!

I’m always available to change the colors or scales of any of my designs as well. So if you see something you like but have your heart set on a specific color, you can email me your requests.

This week, I also started on a new design inspired by one of my favorite foods. Any guesses? Let me know and I’ll share more about it with you next week!
