Re-visiting old work, cat paws, and shop updates!

Happy Sunday!

This week I was busy creating a lot of new art. Most of it was really simple, but I had a lot of fun with it.

First I revisited some older illustrations I created a few months ago. Remember my first pattern collection of weather symbols? After lots of exploring and experimentation with my style, I wanted to re-work them and here’s how they turned out—

These designs match my current style much more and they turned out quite cute!

I’ve also been wanting to illustrate some kitty toe beans. 🐾 It’s been in the back of my mind for a while and I finally decided to just sit down and make them.

These are so simple, but I find them adorable. If you’re a cat lover, you’ll know how hard it is to resist a precious toe bean. 🥰

Speaking of the shop, when I first opened it, my initial goal was to play around with all of the different products and figure out which ones I enjoy my work on the most. After a lot of experimentation, I’ve decided to focus on stationary.

I personally love stationary. I’m constantly buying and using new journals, notebooks, and stickers and I think my work suits these products well. So to keep my shop more focused, I’ll be primarily designing for stickers and notebooks. You’ll start to notice over the coming weeks that my shop only has those items available.

That said, if you see any of my illustrations and think you’d love them on another medium such as wall art, fabric, or curtains, you can always send me an email and make a request! I’m able to get my work printed on just about anything. I plan on formalizing the process soon, but for now, don’t hesitate to reach out and I’d be happy to work with you!
